Cookie Policy & Local Storage Directives

EFFECTIVE DATE: August 26, 2024
LAST REVISED: August 26, 2026
STATUS: ACTIVE & AUDITED

01.Cookie Policy Overview

HXLABZ ("HXLabz", "we") uses cookies, local browser storage (localStorage), and session storage strictly to facilitate system stability, retain essential UI state, and safeguard against distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attempts.

We do NOT utilize tracking pixels, commercial advertising cookies, cross-site beacons, or data broker integrations.

02.Categories of Storage & Telemetry

1. Strictly Necessary Storage (Always Active)

Required for basic web security, load balancing, preventing automated request flooding, and maintaining connection integrity with our container runtime. These cannot be disabled in our consent tool.

2. Functional & Interface Preferences (User Controlled)

Preserves client-side states such as whether you have acknowledged the introductory animation sequence, your active consent settings, and interactive terminal preferences.

3. Telemetry & Performance (Opt-In Only)

Measures anonymous Core Web Vitals (render latency, canvas FPS performance) to optimize client rendering speed. This telemetry collects zero user identifiers and is inactive until explicit consent is provided.

05.Browser-Level Storage Directives

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies and local storage through their settings:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Third-party cookies.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.

Note: Blocking strictly necessary technical cookies may degrade simulation rendering performance or break CSRF protection.

06.Policy Updates

We periodically review this policy to ensure alignment with technological updates and regulatory changes. All modifications will be posted here with an updated revision date.
